Virtual Vacation

I admit I am feeling uninspired for blogging today. The summer heat is here and I am stretched a bit thin and feeling very tired. So I went cruising through my notes and Pinterest looking for some jewelry making trend to catch my eye. Instead I found myself gazing longingly at vacation photos to take my mind off my messy desk and maxed out Outlook calendar. Here is my favorite, folks. Feast your eyes.


In the words of Liz Lemon, “I want to go there.” Tis the season for lounging by the pool and basking on a sunny beach.  Regrettably, that isn’t happening anytime soon for a lot of us. Bummer.

Despite this being a really long day after a stretch of really long days and weeks, all is well in the world at Halstead. Business is great and I do not really have anything to complain about. But, a little visual vacation is definitely in order. You can get this image at in case you need to daydream about sandy shores and cabana boys too. Here’s hoping you all get to escape for some much deserved R&R soon this summer. Enjoy!

  • Those of us who live with beautiful beaches like this still don’t get to enjoy them nearly enough. Laundry, errands, life gets in the way. People on vacation enjoy them more than locals. Thanks for the reminder-laundry will still be there tomorrow. Enjoy the beach!
